Yeah solid but......
So first things first. We needed to see what we had. It was time to remove what was not needed for our future tailgating machine. The demo was handle by tailgater extreme Stuart Blencoe. All of the netting, canvas and door were removed and disposed of. My co-worker actually picked a very good time to upgrade. She had a lot more water damage then she realized. The roof had been leaking for a while. The wood paneling was removed to see what we had.
While it was nasty it was not of major concern to us. We were going to remove it anyway. The top of the roof will be sealed and the underside painted also. So frame is solid, siding is tight for the most part. Interior is in great shape. A lot more storage then we anticipated. All the seats lift up leaving us plenty of space for our tailgating needs. The slide outs that were used for beds were strong and the wood itself in great shape. Couple of minor exterior issues. The original camper jack was rusted and damage. Stuart had an extra one and replaced it immediately. Couple of cracked light covers some blown out bulbs, nothing major.
I know it looks like a pig in a poke right now but that's going to change quickly.
