The Devil is in the details

So haven't done anything major to the pop up but decided to go by today and add a couple of touch ups just see what it looks like

Wow, David it the underside of the roof! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know kind of boring. So what to do that will add a little school spirit?

How about our flag? I kind of like it and it was simple enough to do and easy enough to trade it out to something else if we get tired of it. Whats next?

Yep the bar again. For those with sharp eyes you can see that the handle on the right side was broken and the one on the left is just dated. Lets spruce that up a little bit.

Took off the handles and replaced with some antiqued cast iron "owls." Funny this took more time then you would think. The screws on the back of the owls were about an 1/4 to long and would not allow the doors to close. Had to drill two new holes but no biggie. We will get the old hole filled with some wood putty, repaint and they will look like they have always been there.

So there you have it. Short and sweet but an update none the less. More to come, so check back in.
