A bar you say? Hmmm

So its been said that sometimes there is drinking involved in regards to tailgating. Who are we to go against tradition. Lets see what we have in the old garage to get this party started.

A pile of genuine tree wood looking for a home. *I actually did this project back in January but I guess I had just posted it on Facebook and not here so we will fix that right now. The thought process here is make something we can attach to the popup but take down for transportation. Decided to go with a variation of a Murphy bar.

I decided not to bore you with the cutting and measuring but here we go.

Did a light stain added some brass accents, antique latches and a couple of handles.

Here we have the other side. I added the steel and left a space open for glasses. I think it kind of gives it a rustic/western look.

And here is the final project. I have enough room for six bottles "depending on size" and area up top for glasses. When closed the rubber matting protects the glasses and bottles from shifting around. Now have to figure out where and how it will be mounted. That will be another blog post in the future.
